Cylinder Identification, Storage and Handling
Jaysons gas cylinders are easily identifiable as they are bright yellow in colour and have the Jayson’s gas branding on the cylinder. Our cylinders have been manufactured by an SABS and LPG Association approved supplier.
If cylinders are exposed to heat, the pressure of the gas content will increase, and a dangerous situation may arise. Therefore, store all cylinders well away from sources of heat such as furnaces, stoves, boilers and radiators as well as potential fire hazards. Keep cylinders in a well-ventilated area. If you smell gas, switch off the cylinder on the valve and extinguish all open flames.
Product Safety
Our products are safely filled, packed and delivered by certified personnel. Our fleet team may assist with connecting cylinders for you following LPG safe processes upon request.
Our delivery and sales team are professionally trained, experienced and always follow loading and offloading procedures. Our tanks and cylinders are revalidated as per manufacture recommendations.
Depot and Vehicle Safety
Our depot complies with all LPG depot and flammable storage requirements by the fire department and bylaws of the eThekwini municipality.
Our fleet is certified by fire and transport department to carry flammable products. Drivers have valid driving license with DGP and Hazchem certification.
